Jistik Launch

Today I am overjoyed - I can smell the launch, and all the hard work is paying off. All the days and nights of recording lists, the endless, endless meetings, the planning, the traveling, the lawyers, the accountants, and the people and the contractors who never showed up, the setbacks and the jumpstarts, all those places where others have stumbled - have all faded away into the long sunset. The launch of Jistik is now only days away, and we at Blackline Technologies are obviously very excited. We have worked very hard this past year to bring a product to market that will make a real impact on the bottom-line operation of wholesale manufacturers.

Jistik means more to me now, than what began as the development of a software product, Jistik has become a transformative process. Eighteen months ago when Jeff and I started thinking about the marriage of information technology and chargebacks and deductions, I remember commenting that 'it was a problem with a relatively adequate solution.' I understood it from the perspective of algorithms, data transactions, and the general problems involved with any data interchange and integration scenario - and felt well assured the technologies existed to solve the problem. Needless to say, I could not have been more wrong.

What I failed to understand was the importance of the human component. The absolute neccesity of human interaction within the cycle of researching, disputing, and ultimately resolving chargebacks and deductions. And after meeting and speaking with collectors, AR Administrators, Controllers, CFO's and CEO's over the past year, and learning a lot from the people I was able to speak with, I believe we have the right mix of automation, mining algorithms, and human control straight out of the box.

So I'm excited, and I hope you'll share my excitement once you've had the opportunity to learn about Jistik, and see first hand what Jistik can do for you.
